Default Well, finally upgraded to CS...

....from 4.01. Took me long enough.

Haven't really had time to play with it much, but the RAW converter is
pretty damned cool. Does a much better job with RAW conversion than
Canon's image browser, and is much quicker. The luminance smoothing is
great for taking out noise before editing.

Full 16-bit color support is very cool. Great for adjusting images
without clipping the dynamic range too much.

Hi, can you please tell me how that compares to an image captured at the
camera's finest jpeg (least compression) and then treated with neatimage?

Good grief! I haven't used PS4 since I left school in the late Nineties...

If CS is anything like 7, it will still have the Heal brush- IMO this one
function is about the most important added tool since the History panel,
which I guess is new to you too :-)

Anyone with a DSLR or film scanner will find themselves using heal brush a
lot before long...
