Default A little work at the triathlon

At this year's Lake San Antonio Wildflower Triathlon, at the top of a
long grinding climb there were at least two photographers waiting;

for the bike riders to arrive;

Liked that shot best - I love the reflection of the asphalt in his
sunglasses.

Yup! That is also one of my favorites.

Finding keepers takes quite a lot of weeding through all the shots of
an event such as this, where you are shooting anywhere from 3 to 10
shots at good targets as they approach you at speed. Even though they
had been slowed by the hill. The annoying thing is, you still miss some
of the ones you thought might be great shots.
So in a little less than an hour I shot about 900 exposures and ended
up with about 30 good keepers, and those could be whittled down to ten
I could be really happy with.

My wallet and I are glad I'm not still using film!

Very nice series of images.
I particularly like:

You managed to capture the essence of the rider's efforts.

That's not a bad ratio for an action event. Not good if you are
shooting large, unmoving objects.

My wallet and I are glad I'm not still using film!

If film was the only option, I might turn to landscape photography.
