Default Problem with ZoomBrowser EX

Just to make sure there is not a hardware issue with the compact flash card,
have you tried using that card in a card reader?

I use "Zoombrowser EX 4.1.47" to download pictures from my 300D
camera. Recently I buy a 1GB Lexar Profesional Compact Flash memory. I
formated the card in my 300D.

All goes right, but when I try to download the images contained in the
card via the USB port of the camera, Zoombrowser gives a message :
There are no image in the camera or camera folder"
When I shut down the camera, the computer (Windows 2000) crashes and
restart.

Has anybody already encountered this problem?? And what is the
solution??

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Luc

Get a card reader and download that way rather than through the camera.
That way, you don't need ZoomBrowser. If you shoot raw, you might consider
another converter. I never liked ZoomBrowser.

Download the latest Zoombrowser 4.6.0.32 from the Canon website. Your
Zoombrowser is probably corrupted.

I have a diffeent ZB problem...I'm trying to use the Remote Capture
feature via the USB cord from the camera to the computer, but I keep
getting the error response that the camera is not connected...I have
made sure the camera is turned on and that connections are tight.

You don't need ZoomBrowser for Remote Capture, but you do need to make sure
the camera drivers are properly loaded.

Well I installed the software off of the CD that came with my A80...I
suppose I have some sort of hardware/software conflict.
