burning photo CDs
Hi,
I need advice about making photo CDs that will play on a DVD player. I have been able to make an ISO9660 data CD using .jpg files. The numbering, which goes from, say: 0001,0002....0100, ends up playing on the DVD player as: 0001, 0001, 0002, 0002....0050, 0050. I do not see 2 versions of the same picture, rather, the DVD player skips to the next highest number and ends halfway through the list. I am able to view the photos, but only half of the batch I tried to make. Any ideas what is up with this? I am using an iMac OS9.2, Toast 5, and I'm playing on an inexpensive Toshiba DVD player that I bought last week (jpeg compatible). When I open the CD on my iMac, all of the photos are there, but the DVD player sees it differently. Is this just a Mac vs. PC problem? I can get around it by making 2 CDs, starting the second one at 0051, or whatever, but it would of course be better to not have to do that. Thanks, John |
