Default FA: Nice Looking Collectible: Kodak No. 3A Autographic Model C with Case

Here's a good looking Eastman Kodak No. 3A Autographic, Model C
camera, produced between 1914-1934. While it would look great on a
bookshelf, it could also be used to take pictures.

It uses 122 rollfilm, which (believe it or not), is still available
from Film for Classics.com. It takes a 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" postcard-size
picture, which qualifies it as large format in my book.

In fact, I imagine you could remove the Kodak Anastigmat 173mm f7.9
lens, and use it on your 4X5 camera. The Kodex shutter had limited
speeds though -- T, B, 25, and 50. The smallest marked f stop is 32,
but it looks like it could easily go to 45. It uses slip-on filters.
The manual for the basic Autographic can be found online, though this
is a fancier version which was fairly pricey when new.

It's called an Autographic because of a special feature on the back:
You could lift a metal flap and, using a stylus attached to the
camera, write information on the film. This appeared on the negative,
as I understand it.

The camera itself is a biggie, measuring 2" x 5" x 9 3/4". Naturally
the case is somewhat larger. The camera has two tripod holes for
portrait and horizontal views.
