FA: Build something with this Burke & James 11 X 14 to 8 X 10 Reducing Back
This is an 11 X14 Burke & James camera back, which takes 8 X 10 inch
film holders. It has no ground glass, but is in excellent condition otherwise. If you don't have an 11 X14 Burke & James Camera (and most of us don't), why would you want this? Use it to build a large format camera, Fit it to another brand of camera that needs a 8 X10 back. Make and 8 X 10 pinhole camera. Make an 8 X10 hand-held "Hobo" camera like Bostick & Sullivan sells. I bought it to mount on an old studio camera. Then I found a back made to fit that camera. The outside dimensions of this back are 16 inches square. It could easily be cut it to fit your camera. I'm starting it low so someone can get a good deal on a hard-to-find part. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7536166607 |
