OK.....Now, lets suppose that you know him to be a suicidal maniac, who believes he will go to heaven if he kills you, and he says, "I have ordered a bomb that will take out this whole block. As soon as I get it, I am going to explode it, and take us all to heaven." Way to build up the strawman there. Oh, and good luck with your report to the police..... You're right; I'd call the FBI, ATF, and/or the DHS at that point. They take bomb threats quite seriously these days. - Solomon -- Solomon Peachy pizza at shaftnet dot org Melbourne, FL ^^ (mail/jabber/gtalk) ^^ Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur. I disagree. Raising a child to believe in anything supernatural, whose existence can't be proved, is brainwashing....The only difference between Christianity and radical Muslimism is a matter of degree. In the former While I generally agree with you here, I have one nit to pick. It's not "between Christanity and radical Islam", it's "between Radical Christianity, Radical Islam, Radical Judiasm, Radical Norse Pagans, and/or Radical [Religion X, Y, or Z]" What all of those radical fundamentalists have in common is that they believe that They Are Right, Everyone Else Is Wrong, and that the ends (post-mortem eternal booty or whatnot) justify the means (Hey, by killing them I did them a favor; God told me to do it so it's not murder! Whatever.) malevolent and totally unable to co-exist with anyone else....They can't even co-exist with each other, since they believe you are doing them a favor by killing them and sending them to Allah prematurely....... I know you're talking about the Shi'a and Sunni schism here, but I remember reading about a few bloody conflicts between various Christian sects. Wars are never truly fought over religion; while the folks doing the dying may believe it, the folks calling the shots know war is really about economics: Opening/expanding trade routes, securing resources and markets, plus the immediate economic benefit of the spoils of war. Or, if you're really cynical, war is also a means to control your own population. - Solomon -- Solomon Peachy pizza at shaftnet dot org Melbourne, FL ^^ (mail/jabber/gtalk) ^^ Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur.
