Why didn't they make more of these? I understand that its supposed to
be limited in the first place, but still, its so gaudy that its great!

Ok, lets pretend that its not actually made out of 24 carat gold. And
apparently other 'gold' colored pentaxes exist.

Aren't they Leica copies?

I was very much suprised to see a Leica copy in gold, marked 'Berlin
Olymics' or similar with suitable lettering and insignia go on ebay for
over £100. I would have put an offer in if it had not gone for over a
tenner just because it was such a gaudy item. I can't beleive that it was
really worth that much to someone.

For only, "over £100", it must not have been a working camera.......But yes,
gaudy is beautiful to many people. This is what keeps the souvenir stores in
business.....
