Default Kodak video download problems

I recently purchased a Kodak P850. I have had no problems with the
camera until today. I can download still pics, but I cannot download
videos to my computer. I can watch them on the t.v. or camera. I am
sure it is a files problem on my computer, but I don't know where to
look. I uninstalled the Kodak software, but that was awhile ago. I have
been able to download videos after I did that. I did have problems with
my internet in the past few days, this is the only thing that I could
say has changed. I had to reconnect twice with help from my isp since
yesterday. Would this affect my settings for downloads? Thanks ahead of
time.

I did that this morning and all is fine again. Thanks! I have had
problems with the Kodak software before and was reluctant to reinstall
it. However, except for an email glitch it works fine.

Greetings Nemo,

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

When you uninstalled the EasyShare Software, did you uninstall
Quicktime? Kodak uses the Quicktime format for its movie feature. Try
reinstalling the latest version of EasyShare and make sure you install
the Quicktime feature as well. After you do, you should be able to see
the movies and play them in EasyShare or later via Quicktime or other
.mov compatible program. Let me know how you make out.

Talk to you soon, Nemo,

Hi Nemo,

Glad things are working well for you now. Actually, the EasyShare
program has come a long way in features and functionality etc. I suspect
you will find it helpful in organizing your images. Let me know if you
have any questions on use etc.

What was the email glitch. I may be able to resolve that for you? Talk
to you soon,
