Default accurate meter worth its weight in fast glass

The Canon PowerShot SX120 seems to have a fairly accurate meter. It's nice
that highlights don't get totally blown when working with darker
backgrounds.

In particular, the face detect feature does a nice job at exposing /
focusing on faces in the picture, instead of just what's closest or
brightest.

Take Care,
Dudley
