Can't seem to find the right case. I have 12 holders, who makes a nylon, rectangular zipper top case with a strap? Alex |

Years ago I found some very rugged canvas engineering bags/cases each holding eight 4x5 film holders very nicely. They can be attached to one's web belt or hung by a strap from one's shoulder. |

Along the line of what Lawrence suggested, I have a canvas Tamrac field-guide bag, with snap belt loops, that holds as many as 5. I know you want a bag to hold 12, but.... just a thought. |

Did some rummaging around the net and found http://www.armynavysales.com/p-18-br...ineer-bag.aspx This looks much like what I have. I'd double check the width - height - depth specifications with the vendor before deciding on these. I have toyed with the idea of adding velcro fasteners to the bags I have, but have not really found the necessity to do so. |

Case for 4x5 film holders out there?
"Ken Hart1" wrote in message news:QKwBk.582$pp3.504@trnddc06... How about a case for compact disks? That is my exact idea... but CD jewel cases are thinner than holders by like a 1/16" or so. And that rectangular case idea, zipper around the top with a flap over it, sewn thin padded nylon shell around the plastic box frame with molded-in slots = they way to go. I wish, and I bet it's been made in the past. These days people book their discs, or they concentrate them down to mp3 so as to carry fewer discs. Alex |
