OK That worked. Nice shot for your album. I would have liked to see more
detail in the left eye and a tad less in the right. While the off center
light lend character, it causes problems that can be easily dealt with
in post. The whites are a bit overexposed, and the blocking of the
shadow in the left eye.

Me too.

So everyone who clicked that link open *my* dropbox folder?

each person sees their own dropbox folder (or a login/signup page)
because there is no user id in the link.

the correct link has his encoded user id:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wegn3zl1xt...p%204%20resize.
jpg?dl=0

I haven't
had that much attention in ages.

for very good reasons.

of course you did.

just like when i post something and you come up with a completely
different meaning than what was intended and then give me **** for not
explaining it better.

next time, write clearly, with a smiley to indicate it's a joke, as is
commonly done.

I don't have a dropbox folder- the original link opened a sign-up page
for me.

Me too. IIRC Dropbox changed the universal sharing policy. I will be
using another service for pubic sharing. I have not decided which one.

DB killed their *Public* folder. Now you share from any folder other
than the old Public folder. If you use the old *Public* folder sharing
via public link will not work.
They have also killed their shorten link feature.

I have just dealt with the changes to DB. I now have a new *Share*
folder to replace the old *Public* folder and I can still get
functional links for image files I care to share, all without issue.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8xpzktbuoqq07yc/AAAXYhWMkevvLiHvRI9iw5oma

I also use the 20GB of Adobe CC space that I am paying for. With that
sharing is as easy as with DB,
https://adobe.ly/2qKzYUe
....and with LR I can sync between my mobile devices and desktop LR CC.

Then there is the 1 year free promotional account I have with SmugMug
which I have toyed with, but have yet to fully embrace.

Nice pic, but a question about the cat -

What happened to his ear (the one we see on the right)?

Just for fun, here's a piccie of Lewis - he lived on board with us for
10 years. We miss him - he was a real character!
