This mandate is clearly discriminatory towards those of us with 1.6x
sensors.

Use your EOS-1v.

I believe I already said that panos can slip through w/o objection from
the SI admin.

Not really, anything shorter than 30mm is a wide angle lens on a 1.6x
camera - I'm sure you've got at least one of them in your arsenal.

Hell, shoot a pano using a tele, stitch it up and bingo, wide.

Why do you think I dusted it off this week?

Then don't complain. I dry fired my Maxxum 9 last night. It is so fast
in all respects v. the Maxxum 7D that it felt like it was for a
different purpose. With autumn approaching, the 9 will see some action.

I hope the a900 is as good as the Maxxum 9 as a camera, but I have my
doubts.
