Default Which Rolleiflex is this?

Hi,
I've found a Rolleiflex on a used camera site for sale, and since I'm not a
Rolleiflex expert, I wondered which model is.
The only info I have about it is for lens: Zeiss Planar 75 1:3,5
f=75mm serial 1769348.

Can someone help me to identify the camera and give me an opinion about it?

Many thanks.

Fabio

The serial number makes it a model E type 1 from late fifties.

All Rolleiflexes are good by definition, even though the shutter may
need cleaning once in a generation. Planar is an excellent lens, but
since it is from the fifties, it is only single coated. Use a shade.

Many thanks.

Does the s/n on the lens identify the camera too? I've read somewhere that
the two numbers mean different things.

Umphhh... yes. I didn't read your message properly...

Unfortunately information in the web about Zeiss lens numbers is very
rare. The body number is more useful, but it may be difficult to see, if
you can't get the camera in your hands.

It was for sure my fault

I called the seller, the body s/n is DBP-1760735.

It seems a 3,5E Type I also from this s/n.

Thanks for the link, it was very useful to understand the Rolli world!

Fabio

PS= around 240USD seems a good price for it if in good conditions?
