Which Rolleiflex is this?
Hi,
I've found a Rolleiflex on a used camera site for sale, and since I'm not a Rolleiflex expert, I wondered which model is. The only info I have about it is for lens: Zeiss Planar 75 1:3,5 f=75mm serial 1769348. Can someone help me to identify the camera and give me an opinion about it? Many thanks. Fabio |

The serial number makes it a model E type 1 from late fifties. http://www.craigcamera.com/rollei_2.htm All Rolleiflexes are good by definition, even though the shutter may need cleaning once in a generation. Planar is an excellent lens, but since it is from the fifties, it is only single coated. Use a shade. -- Lassi Many thanks. Fabio |

The body number is more useful, but it may be difficult to see, if you can't get the camera in your hands. -- Lassi |

Thanks for the link, it was very useful to understand the Rolli world! Fabio PS= around 240USD seems a good price for it if in good conditions? |
