photoshop has used multiple cores/cpus since version 3 back in the
mid-90s.

not all actions benefit from multiple cores/cpus, which is why
photoshop only uses as many as needed for maximum efficiency.

It's an interesting article. But, I look at it with a jauidniced eye.
Note that they are selling systems that according to them, work
optimally with CC.
It would be difficult for the average CC user to verify the results.
Adobe's official response would be interestimg.
Having said that, I note that, at least on my machine, blurring filters
are indeed slow.
