Default Any small cameras do .avi now?

My SD110 was just stolen. The 10fps mjpeg was fair. Any small cameras
have .avi or better frame rates now?

I want to also look at the smallest camcorders, but i fear they will
all be too big.

AVI is just a file format, and doesn't specify any particular codec or
compression rate (and, indeed, AVI can hold uncompressed video). DV25 is
the current consumer/prosumer digital spec, and is implemented as miniDV and
Digital8. It has, roughly, a 5 to 1 compression ratio. I'm unaware of any
still camera that implements DV25 or, for that matter, can produce video
that compares to a decent miniDV or D8 camcorder.
