There is no such thing as a "cheap" electronic meter that's accurate to anywhere
near .1 degrees. I used to work in a meteorology labs and have seen the prices
of probes accurate to a tenth of a degree. This is real accuracy not simply a
display with a decimal point.

The "spk1 Pocketknife" is not what you are looking for. It goes
for $17 and has some nice features; hi/lo function and hold.
