Digital Photo Album (Tagging)
I would like to tag my library of digital images so that I can later request
adhoc slideshows containing photos that have certain keywords associated with them. What is the best way to do this without getting locked into a proprietary solution. I will be investing a lot of time tagging a large collection of existing photos and would like the freedom to switch album software down the road without losing all my tagging info. Is exif/iptc meant for this type of thing? Can anyone recommend the best way to do this and which software supports such a open standard? TIA |

Photoshop Album 2 allows tagging of pictures. I doubt if there is any
tagging standard. Photoshop Elements 3 is supposed to include improved photo editing plus the features in Album. Sabu "A Bazin" wrote in message newsw_fd.48707$Pl.14444@pd7tw1no... So is EXIF/IPTC or JPEG Comments not considered a generic standard that is
meant to be used for this type of thing? "Robert Morrisette" wrote in message ... Photoshop Album 2 allows tagging of pictures. I doubt if there is any tagging standard.
