You're way off base on this one. At no time in this thread has there been
any attempt to "sell some more magazines". Like it or not this is a
public newsgroup where eveyone including yourself can post.

It was in Chicago around the turn of the century. Sorry! :-)

I didn't say _which_ century. Gawd, now everybody knows how old I am.

Bah, humbug, all that stuff is easy compared to Louis Boutan's 1892
underwater Large Format camera (not a tiny 4x5" either ;-) used to shoot
the first photographs underwater. And how about his nifty exploding
underwater flash bulbs of 1899? ;p-) The whole setup was bigger than some
dorm refrigerators ;-0) Even a mere MF SLR like my bronica s2a is bigger
than most of your 4x5" cameras, see http://medfmt.8k.com/bronuw.html

I don't see why people would think it was difficult. Jacques Henri
Lartigue was
doing action shots quite a long time ago.

I wish I had the money to experiment like he did.

You mean for all the film? I think the camera he used was not that
complicated. It would be fun to go to a vintage car meet, the Mille
Miglia, or even a bicycle race, and try some images. Even just getting a
few frames could show some really cool images. So why not try something?

Ciao!
