Default X-T2 So Far

After day 2 with the X-T2 I still have to get comfortable with some of
the UI/menu differences between it and the X-E2, especially in
different shooting scenarios, but I am getting there. I also have to
get to grips on the very powerful AF-C options on the X-T2 which are
very different to the X-E2 and my old D300S. Given the new X-Trans III
sensor and the improved ISO range and low light performance it is
somewhat akin to comparing a family sedan with a Ferrari.

One of my greatest concerns was the potential size difference between
the two cameras. There was no need to worry, the actual physical size
differences are minuscule. I didn't get the battery grip/booster unit,
but I will probably buy it now to use when needed.

For now I have not had the opportunity to get out and shoot some
serious test shots, but I have plans for the next few days. Perhaps a
drive out to Carrizo Plains, and/or the San Luis Obispo Thursday
Farmers Market.
