Pretty sad when your own lens-line is such s--- someone can sell a $400-$700 adapter for it just so you can use someone else's...
In article , android
says... Are you selling that **** or something? If you wanna use Canon lenses then buy a Canon camera! But the A7R II body is quite interesting (and the old A7 body is a bargain right now). It's just that the lens line-up is deficient. I do agree however that it makes only sense to get the adapter if you already have the Canon lenses and are making the switch to Sony. -- Alfred Molon Olympus E-series DSLRs and micro 4/3 forum at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MyOlympus/ http://myolympus.org/ photo sharing site |

Well, If you're a landscaper or portrait photog then you don't really have to pay US400 for an adapter: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/?_nkw=eos%20ef%20sony%20adapter -- teleportation kills |

This is a wired one with AF and EXIF if I've understood the auction correctly: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111630720311 The degree of smartness may vary as well as your "milage" but if you're let's say into landscapes then AF speed might not be that important. One must be careful when buying anything on the internet so that you what need is that that's in the box... -- teleportation kills |

Cool, manual focus only. This is a wired one with AF and EXIF if I've understood the auction correctly: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111630720311 By the way, why is that 100mm lens so huge? Together with the adapter it's multiple times the body ;-) You buy a small body, but the lenses turn out to be huge. -- Alfred Molon Olympus E-series DSLRs and micro 4/3 forum at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MyOlympus/ http://myolympus.org/ photo sharing site |

Here's my 17-40/4.0 on the EOS-M: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/0hvtey8xjjg3o2h/20161116_144438.jpg Got it for the 1D2 since the Sammy 14/2.8 deteriorated into uselessness... ;-) -- teleportation kills |
