Yelp, Sandman's travel companion, rates it four out of five so it must
be good.

Sandman can expect to drop about $700 for dinner for two (Chef's
Tasting, wine pairing, and a tip) at Aquavit, but the herring is
supposed to be good.

Now that place is a pretentious tourist trap.

Maybe, but it's a *Swedish* pretentious tourist trap. For that reason
alone it has to be better than the Golden Corral in the Orlando-area
tourist trap.

Of course, a family of two can have 35 dinners at the Golden Corral
for the price of one dinner at Aquavit.

You could certainly never accuse me of having any taste for gourmet food
but I'd choose the Golden Corral over that place any time.

I actually like a few things at the GC.
Fried chicken
Meatloaf, hamburgers and gravy
While their steaks need to be chewed well, they are tasty.
That said, their water is excellent, and perhaps the very best thing
they have.

Out here in drought stricken California, water is a special order item at
many restaurants.
So we just quench our thirst with wine.

Nothing at all. But it seems to me that if there is a a bad water
shortage that you must drink wine, swimming in wine, would be a valid
alternative to swimming in water.
