Somebody has to watch the "watchers". I have little faith in police
policing themselves, my experience tells me to be wary. The only
recourse
after the police inevitably determine that an officer acted properly, no
matter how improper they acted, is the try to get the DA to file charges.

aspect to this. I hold that none of the officers involved should be

seek out a new career. I agree an agressive strip search on the
roadside is inappropriate and unusual, and unless the officers
involved
can justify such a search, they should face the consequences of their
actions.
