Default Stakeout Failure

I'm submitting photos for a display at City Hall of a smaller city in
this area. I've been asked for five, and have four. I need a fifth
subject.

The photos need to reflect something identified with the city, and
should include landmarks, people doing something in a city location,
or something that people who view the photo will immediately know it
was taken in this city.

I finally came up with a fifth subject: a church after the end of the
service with the people leaving. There's only one church in the city
that is really of photographable interest. It's an older,
traditional-looking Episcopal church with a nice bell tower.

I cased the joint during the week and found that the Sunday morning
service starts at 10 AM. I'm not a church-goer, but I figured the
service would last about an hour, so I got there at 10:15 and picked
out my angle and where to position myself. I was able to park my car
in such a way that I could shoot through the driver's window and get a
wide enough angle to get the whole church and tower and front of the
church.

Finally, about 11:30, the crowd started to leave...but through a side
door where the crowd was blocked by parked cars! One person came out
the front door. No photo was taken.

Still looking for a fifth subject.

Is there a recognizable town drunk?

While the instructions were to photograph anything that I thought
would be of interest, a point was made that photographing a happy
crowd seated in one of the outdoor areas of the many restaurant/bars
along the main street would provide publicity to that establishment
and competing establishments might not take it well.

What! No town square or city park where the locals can be found
enjoying the passing parade from a park bench?

How about a cute cat or dog picture ;-)

Maybe you could provide one as a template? :-))
