A simple software utility for digicam

Also there are photoshop plugins that you have to pay, too. second, and far more serious is it's not codesigned. I (and all developers around the world) are not forced to do this. if you can't be bothered to codesign the app, then why should anyone be bothered to override the system's security protections just to run it? there is no reason if you have a good antivirus... third, there's no need to have separate 32 & 64 bit mac versions nor is there any reason to zip a dmg. zipping dmg's takes less space in my server.... this tells me you don't know what you're doing, making it even less attractive to try it. 32bit version has 2038 bug.... fourth, charging money for it is laughable. you are not forced to do this.... |

Also there are photoshop plugins that you have to pay, too. nonsense. the amount of power the camera uses is negligible, doing it twice doesn't increase quality and there's no need for a photoshop plug-in, paid or otherwise, since the ability is already *in* photoshop. second, and far more serious is it's not codesigned. I (and all developers around the world) are not forced to do this. they do if they want users to run their apps. running untrusted unsigned apps from an unknown source is really, really stupid. codesigning is very easy and is *expected* these days. anyone not doing it is not a serious developer. if you can't be bothered to codesign the app, then why should anyone be bothered to override the system's security protections just to run it? there is no reason if you have a good antivirus... nonsense, and there's no such thing as a good antivirus tool. often they're worse than the malware they try to block, plus they can't block malware that hasn't yet been written since they don't yet know what exploits it will use and how to detect it. if you can't be bothered to codesign your apps, then you have no respect for your users. a serious developer would codesign it. third, there's no need to have separate 32 & 64 bit mac versions nor is there any reason to zip a dmg. zipping dmg's takes less space in my server.... your app is so small that the difference in space is almost nothing and you'd save even more space if you combined both versions into a single binary rather than having separate 32 & 64 bit apps. if space on your server is *that* critical where an extra megabyte fills it, then you need to upgrade your server *now* before you start serving *anything* from it. in any event, learn about compressed dmgs. you could also zip the app directly and not bother with a dmg at all. this tells me you don't know what you're doing, making it even less attractive to try it. 32bit version has 2038 bug.... you *definitely* don't know what you're doing. macs don't have a 2038 bug and nothing you claim to be doing is date dependent anyway. it also doesn't make a difference since today's apps won't be used in 21 years, certainly not yours. fourth, charging money for it is laughable. you are not forced to do this.... nobody said anyone was. it's not even worth free and you've made that even more clear now. |

Anyone is free to do what he want to do. Regards from Italy Pasquale |
