EVF versus OVF: The reality

I've only used film SLRs so I can't comment on the whole experience, but
I was shooting musicians in a fairly dark pub at the weekend, using an
F2 prime in a cluttered environment, so really needed manual focus.

I was very pleased how well the X-E1 coped with the magnification
button. Light levels meant I was shooting at 1/30 at ISO 3200, the
magnified image was quite noisy but still easy to focus especially on
clean linear objects like bass guitar strings.
