If you want free for iOS, or Android there are always these:

Those won't work on a computer... :-ppp

An iPad is all the computer you might ever need!

(Maybe)

No it isn't and it's not a computer by popular definition since it lacks
proper input devices and reasonable sized display. It's a tablet. Little
different from those that Samsung sells. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 of that
make tucked away somewhere...

I checked the Adobe forums and got an answer that worked.

I thought I would pass this on in case anyone else had a
similar issue.

Isn't the software market wonderful, for the people selling
it (or subscriptions to it). Instead of having a real tech
department to pay for, their recruit unpaid "community" users
to solve all the f------ problems for them. Genius.
I'll bet the camera makers wish they could do this with their
products.

I linked a free alternative the other day. Anythoughts?

Just another free, me too wannabe.

It's free for the taking though and eight bit editing should be
sufficient for most iPhone and Xperia snappers...

https://itunes.apple.com/se/app/phot...or-pixelstyle/

However, the problem, and this thread, has nothing to do with iOS, or
Android photo editors,

You got that right I was posting a link to a macOS editor. It might be
available for Windows too...

Except you said above; “It’s free for the taking though and eight bit
editing should be sufficient for most iPhone and Xperia snappers.” I
seriously doubt that most iPhone, or Xperia snappers have a desktop,
macOS,
or Win10 to use for editing.

it has to do with problems Win10 users are having
after an update to install Adobe CC apps, specifically Photoshop CC.

You were commenting on Pixelstyle, a macOS editor...

The free wannabe. You get what you pay for.

Then you're the guy that walks into a store asking for the most expensive
stuff, 'couse you want and neeed the best?

an ipad absolutely is a computer by popular definition and for many
people, is ideal for their needs.

It's a tablet. Little

actually, it's quite a bit different.

Not if they want to edit photographs properly.

there are plenty of photo editing apps for ipads, as well as for
iphones, which is also a computer.

also, editing photos is not what defines whether something is a
computer or not.

Liar. They are both sandboxed environments under running under a Unix
type kernel.

that's like saying a porsche and a yugo are both metal boxes with an
engine and wheels.

No it's not... More like a Chevy and an Opel. Whatever. They never sold
Yugos here. No market. But the Fiat 127 that it was based on sold rather
well, for an ultra compact...

It, the Yougo was also made in Italy, talking full here circle as the
Innocenti Koral. I was sort of a fan of the Innocentis, especially the
Austin Mini based but this twisted take on the Fiat 127 was not that bad
either! They just don't make cars like that any more!

The Norwegian Think electric car was heading in that direction, IIRC with
plastic bodyworks imported from Turkey and assembly in Finnish
Uusikaupunki...
