short leads on Canon ACK600 - how rto extend?
I recently bought one of these (from eBay, much cheaper
than Canon's extortionate list price). Works well, and should allow me to take some very long/multiple exposures for stacking and bracketing, and also some time lapse shots (courtesy CHDK and a script) But the leads are very short. Certainly too short to conveniently use a tall tripod any distance at all from the power point. Can I get extension cables (for the low voltage lead), or do I need to cut 'n' solder an extra piece of flex in - both ends (transformer and plug) are moulded on, so putting a new, long cable in doesn't appear possible (unless someone know different).
