Not! I checked. He's not a member of this group and his e-mail is
unpublished.

He has many names.

Yes. I understand that he's just lost 50 points.....They are saying that he
used to be, "666", and recently they think he should really be, "616". I'm
not really familiar with the details....Perhaps someone who knows about this
point system will chime in and elaborate.......

Ahhhhhhh.....................

Please don't get the Bible thumpers started. Its Christmas time. Its
probably the only time of the year that Christians are looked upon as
good, everyday people rather than as over-zealous, right-wing kooks
(and those people who actually fit that bill bring that negative light
on all of us). I am a Christian, but I don't go around brow-beating
everyone else into accepting my general religious beliefs and/or
doctrinal minutia. Everyone has his/her religious convictions - even
athiests. I am happy to share my views in a public forum on why I
believe what I believe and how these beliefs have made my life better
WHEN ASKED. I share my convictions with my close, personal friends
much the same as I share other personal information with these people.
Besides, there will be a lot of disenfranchised right-wing Moral
Majoritarians in Heaven when they have to share that blessed place with
Muslims, Jews, Democrats, Socialists, Catholics, Cher and any number of
other people/groups they thought would never make it. Most of these
people would never even have welcomed someone like Jesus Christ into
their own congregations. And, the heck with Jerry Falwell, I'm wishing
everyone "Happy Holidays!". End of rant.

Well said Michael. Thank goodness that in most of the world 'Christian'
doesn't also mean 'right-wing zealot' as if has come to in (much of) the
US - but there is a strand of intolerance that is is spreading :-(

Unfortunately, of fortunately, depending on ones view, this "right-wing
zealot" label is taking hold in more parts of the world. I see it a lot
in German and Italian youth. They try to distance themselves from
Christians. Christian groups I have seen in both countries go out of
their way to make the point that they support right wing groups who in
turn support war and do their best to eliminate many freedoms and social
programs. One does not have to do much historical research to understand
that the Germans and Italians have been sold a bill of goods before
backed by Christian groups.

It's funny that with all the "fake stink" made about 'Christmas under
seige' and 'don't patronize stores that say 'happy holiday', the
official Christmas cards of Bush's White House and the Fox News Channel
both say "Happy Holidays".
Happy Holidays folks

All successful politicians hire "press agents" to make those kinds of
decisions for them....And, considering we are talking about a president,
Bush is a very successful politician......

And the official holiday display at the US Embassy in Baghdad says
"Merry X-mas".
