Any Zone VI Enlarger users out there?

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the head in regards to
using the lift lever to raise the head.

After pulling the lever all the way to raise the head, I have to
phyisically push the head up further to slide a neg carrier in. This
seems like a bad design flaw to me. I also use a Beseler and while it
has its own quirks, putting the neg carrier in works flawlessly.

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a homegrown solution to
this problem.

I use both enlargers, too; but I don't have this problem. Are you sure that
you're pulling the lever _around_ and in front of the nut that locks the
head up until you've inserted the carrier? Not doing this would produce the
problem you describe.
