Default Setting up an Olympus E-5 as a "motion detect" system.

I have the Olympus "Studio 2". What else do I need to take a snapshot
when there is some activity in the picture frame.

I'd go with a Raspberry Pi with camera module and opencv.

There are plenty of motion triggers for Canons and Nikons, none for Olympus that I know of.
