Default B&H, Why All The SPAM???

Surely you can unsubscribe in the same amount of time that you took to post
this?

Henry,

Come on guys, what's the deal here? I love ya and I'm a regular *LOYAL*
customer, have been for many years. Why do you feel the need to SPAM me?
I
know what I want and I'll call you when it's time for me to place an
order.
Please cease the SPAM immediately!! And, yes, I know about the "opt-out"
option. I never "opt-in" so please be considerate to your customers and
not
send SPAM. Think about it, you really don't need to do this. Thank you.

Sure could, but that's not the point, and I wont. You see, I didn't
"subscribe" in the first place.

Well we all make choices, you have made yours. Why get mad, life is too
short.

B&H is my favorite camera store and I
always publicly commend and recommend them whenever I can. On the
same hand, if they are doing something that I feel isn't in my or
their best interest I will tell them. They really don't need to SPAM
people to drum up business. Why **** off loyal customers?

No, she likes to post--she's a pushy whiner and wants everyone to know about
it, lest we forget. Put her in the killfile.

You really are a whinger.

Maybe you should target the real spammers offering you viagra and telling
you that you have a Nigerian relative that left you £/$1000,000, blah, blah.

Because it's the Christmas buying season, and competition is brutal, and
despite your howls or protest, you're a good customer. Really, just
unsubscribe. It's easier.

Receiving bulletins from companies that you DO BUSINESS WITH is not spam.
Spam is the sending of blanket e-mails to random people...hoping to find
someone who might be interested. I expect this from companies who I
regularly do business with, and I find the B&H e-mails not only nice, but
far from anything resembling "spam."

Well, if you're their customer, it's NOT spam for them to send you
emails. They have an existing business relationship with you, so by the
legal definition of spam this isn't spam. If you don't want emails from
them, opt out and be done with it.

People are overly sensitive about things like this. Not every
commercial email you get is spam. Viagra ad from a made-up name? Spam.
Email from a site where you registered or bought something? Not spam.

Do you get ****ed off at LL Bean (or whoever) sending you their
Christmas catalogue?
