Extensis portfolio thumbnail problem

I'm having a problem when using extensis portfolio 7 to manage my
digital assets (photos/artwork etc) MAC OSX 10.2.8

Many of my images are not displaying in the thumbnails, instead i get a
thumbnail of the program application. I checked the extensis website,
and they had a solution for photoshop images,(which on my file, all
appear ok), but no solution for any other files.

The file formats are pretty standard, somejpgs, some tiff files, eps
files. Has anyone else experienced this? And have you come up with a
solution. The program is pretty useless to me without at least most
thumbnails appearing as the related images.

I am also having this same problem. What machine are you using? I am struggling to make my G3 B/W work in 10.2.8.

If you find the solution, please respond. I will do the same.
