The Succos stipulates two day free from chores not necessary. The first

B&H is an Hassidic, ultra-orthodox, very observant business. They are not
open online, or the store on Fridays, and only reopen after 19:45 hours on
Saturday. Perter could probably tell us more.

it depends on sundown, and along with switching to standard time,
winter close/reopen will be much earlier than summertime.

Their web site tells us they will reopen at 07:45 PM on Oct 14, 2017. The
Fujifilm sale will start on Oct 15.

Hey! That list are for them insecure Nouveaux rich only...

So there is another reason I am not buying a D850. It looks like
my
move to Fujifilm was a good one.

That reminds me, there is a Fujinon lens sale starting on Sunday.
I
have a few on my target list.

The firesales have started and are listed he

Well, Fujifilm is not, and there are other stores available. Why the
religious steam on this.

Beats the Hell out of me. However, Fujifilm USA isn’t stupid. They know
that the bulk of their online sales come out of the two biggest NYC stores,
and they are not going to undermine those by starting the sale a few days
early.

The USA is not a Jewish nation.

It isn’t a Christian nation either, but try and tell some of the Krazies we
have over here that. ...and how do you think I feel, after all I am an
athiest.

One nation under God! And those who wrote that had only Calvinism on
their brains...

The Firesale has started.

Not in the US it hasn’t.

This is a the time of international trading. You can order from other
countries...

No Jewish man would be named after the apostle Petrus...

Why not? There was a Jewish kid named Jesus, (he probably looked a lot like
Yassir Arrafat, not Fabio) and he had a jewish fisherman in his gang named
Peter.

Jesus, common name at the time means the ointmented. A name worthy a
King! Jesus gave his friend Simon the name Kajfas. Thats latin name form
is Petrus, which means cliff, BTW. Petrus is the first person in
recorded history with that name... Peter is the germanic nameform for
Petrus. No sane Jew would call his son that!

So the US Fujifilm sale starts on Sunday October 15, regardless of what
you
folks do in Europe. Not that you are going to be buying any Fuji-stuff.

Never say never... Would this be a good deal?

Not really. Unless you want a 5 year old 12 MP camera which was not a great
performer when it was released in 2012. If you are looking for a good
Fujifilm camera to buy these days, look for a used X-E2/X-E2S. Perhaps a used
X-Pro1, or X100S/X100T.

The X-10 would have made a cute extra, for less than USD100 probably but
I think that I'll pass.

A 16MP X-Trans sensor camera would not give any advantage over any
camera in the EOS-M system and getting one would be starting up a dead
end system.
