Never to be used again. Actually, the Apple Lightning connector is pretty durable. It is much better and less fragile than the older 30-pin connector. ....but **** happens. -- Regards, Savageduck |

Fixed lens, small sensor, and 200 shot life for an integrated battery. it's the same size as the nikon series 1. if it works for nikon why not this? That depends on your definition of "works". It is what it is, and what it is, is a small sensor. I understand the concept of tradeoffs, but as others have argued, it's not all that much better than the cameras built into the phones. It's also a matter of personal preference, of course. I like to be able to take photos in low light, so I spent a lot of money to enable myself to do that. If I go out with the purpose of taking photos, I want something very versatile with me. Otherwise, I always have a camera - I have a high-end phone with a decent camera. Some folks will find a good use for the DXO, but most won't. It's likely to go the way of Sigma's cameras, or even those Lytro cameras, and then there were other cameras like the DXO that never gained traction. There are a lot of comments on that Petapixel site, and very few positive ones. And iphone only. Who uses those? *lots* of people. Sure, I've seen them here and there. I think I even know someone who has one. |
