Wouldn't a "real" one be brittle from age?

I've seen bulb type releases available for long-distance (20 feet or so)
use. Try Porter's Camera Store in Cedar Falls, Iowa or online.

How about medical equipment suppliers? Or maybe head shops- I wouldn't know
this personally, but I can envision squeeze bulbs being used in some manner
for recreational drug use. Or how about your local adult toys shop?

Yeah, more's the pity, 'cause I like to use the "real thing" whenever
possible.

Bingo. What a guy would want to get would be a replacement
sphygmomanometer (say that 10 times fast!) bulb, like this one:

Think I'll try to find it locally and avoid $$$ going out of my
community (plus no shipping).

Drug stores once carried them.

Probably not any more; those blood-pressure gauges that use squeeze
bulbs and mechanical gauges are *so* old-school.

Also dust blower bulbs can be jury-rigged to a hose.
