Default Which Consumer Print Film Is Similar to Kodak Portra 400/100 NC/UC ?

Our local stores have selled out Portra, so I want to pick up some
consumer versions similar to Portra 400 NC/UC. Is there any suggestion
out there? After checked the Kodak's web site, I found the product line
of consumer print films has changed so much.
Thanks in advance.

There is no equivalent to Portra 400NC.

But High Definition 400 is something like Ultra Color 400 (the new name
for Portra 400UC). It's a pretty good film that scans similarly and has
nearly as fine grain. The only problem is that it comes only in 24
exposures.

You might also try a trip to the local Target or Wal-Mart. Kodak now
sells Ultra Color 400 in packages of three (36-exposure) rolls at a
price that's probably lower than your local camera shop.
