time.....Hitler could have developed it, and if he did, we would all (yes,

those two....We dropped them on two Japanese industrial cities. It worked,

developed the bomb didn't know, and several of them died from radiation
exposure.....To go back now, and say that we are monsters for building and
dropping those bombs is preposterous, and exhibits the worst of the
Liberal's tendency to Monday morning quarterback.
To our great credit, we have never used nuclear weapons on our enemies
again. We haven't even threatened to use them on anyone. Every conflict we
have been associated with since has been non-nuclear. You guys are like
condemning Nobel for an accident in the first dynamite factory, and ALWAYS
BRING IT UP, no matter what the discussion is about. You seem obsessed with
our giving all the maniacs in the world nuclear weapons just because we have
them, and defend every idiot who wants one in his arsenal......What you

Yes. The stories go on and on, but where is the justification for those
stories? What is the actual evidence for them? - Quoting Shakespeare doesn't
count. I have found that much of ancient history is pure speculation on the
part of historians who are working for their PhD's in ancient
history....When you try to find the actual evidence for that speculation,
you'll find that it doesn't exist.......

country since, so whatever our government has been doing to prevent them,
it has worked.
I do not live in personal fear, but I fear for the future of my country
and its citizens. This is a perfectly rational fear, and not a phobia. I
want Bush, and/or whatever government we have in the future, to keep all
the "action" away from American soil, and to keep nuclear weapons out of
the hands of idiots like the people who run Iran and North Korea. This is
not the desires of a, "clueless person." These are perfectly reasonable
things to hope for.
