Not so....It is the crux of the communist ideology, but Socialism is an
economic system, and the socialist ideology is to take all the money away
from the people, and then dole it back out to those who "need" it. This is
what I hate about it....It doesn't reward those who make/save lots of money.
It just steals that money away, and distributes it to the people who didn't
make enough of it to begin with. Socialized medicine is a great example. I
worked and saved and paid into health plans all of my life, and now, when I
am paying over $750 a month for my HMO, the government wants to use the
taxpayers money to give everyone "adequate health care". IOW, I not only
have to pay for my families own health care, but for that of others too! So
the grasshopper was right after all....When the ants were working away, and
he was fiddling, he knew that he wouldn't have to provide for his old
age....Hillary would come along and do it for him! By stealing a little bit
from each ant, there would be more than enough to go
around....Unfortunately, the population of grasshoppers is growing steadily,
and the population of ants is shrinking, until we are now at the point where
there are only about 4 or 5 ants for every grasshopper.....Some day, when
the grasshoppers are waiting in line for their welfare checks, the ants will
be all gone, and the window will close in their faces........

I am only afraid of real threats.....9/11 was a real attack, and real,
innocent people were killed. There have been no more attacks on this country
since, so whatever our government has been doing to prevent them, it has
worked.
I do not live in personal fear, but I fear for the future of my country
and its citizens. This is a perfectly rational fear, and not a phobia. I
want Bush, and/or whatever government we have in the future, to keep all the
"action" away from American soil, and to keep nuclear weapons out of the
hands of idiots like the people who run Iran and North Korea. This is not
the desires of a, "clueless person." These are perfectly reasonable things
to hope for.

My solution is to pick our congressmen out of a hat containing

of their choice out of their membership. But this "pie-on-the-sky"
solution will never be adopted until we are changed by the primary
right of the people, which is the right of revolution.

in total immersion being necessary in order to be correctly baptised, or
some such nonsense) they will go to heaven and have 72 virgins for the rest
of eternity, and where does that leave you? I know where that leaves
me.......6 feet under ground, if I am lucky.

Extend your timeline one more year and see how it looks.
The fact remains we are the only country to ever use nuclear weapons
on innocent people. And yes, most of those people were innocent just

That's all well and good, but there is a lot of discussion among
non-religious historians as to whether he existed at all. I put him in the
same class with Cleopatra......There is very little real evidence that she
existed either, and yet fiction writers like Shakespeare have her bedding
