Here is my definition: Socialism is a system where the government takes
all the peoples money away from them, and then doles it back out according
to their "needs". And, of course, the government decides exactly what
those needs are. So you end up living the lifestyle that the government
wants you to live. You eat the food they want, live in the house they want
you to live in, near the factory they want you to work in, and have only
the things they want you to have, which, of course, are only those things
that they deem are good for you and the rest of the population . - Lots of
fun, huh?

I haven't found that the average person is too dumb to run this country. Mr.
Carlin might think so, but then he is a liberal, and all liberals think that
the average American is too dumb to run himself, and needs the guidance of a
good liberal government to show them the way.....It is one of the more
obnoxious things I have found about the way liberals think, and it is one of
the things that justifies their love of socialism.
I believe a congress composed of farmers, truck drivers, and mechanics,
and hair dressers and grocery store clerks, with an occasional doctor and
engineer would do a better job of running the country than a bunch of rich
lawyers and professional politicians who know very little about the problems
of the common man, because they were all born rich, and have never had to
work or face any of those problems a day in their entire lives.

I never said that there weren't different degrees of Socialism.....It has a
way of starting small, and growing and growing....."Creeping" Socialism,
it's called.....I have watched it creeping and growing bigger and bigger in
this country all of my life, and watched my freedoms become abridged by it,
too. It's funny, but you can measure its progress very well, simply by
reading the tax tables.....The greater the percentage of your salary you pay
in taxes, the greater the percentage of socialism, and the fewer freedoms
you have.

liberals are commies and liberals all want us to lose the war, why not

How could you possible know what somebody who lived (perhaps) 2000 years ago
thought, or what their political philosophy was? The same way you can get
inside G. Bush's head and know what he thinks, I guess........

What you said was basically the crux of all socialist ideologies, that
workers should rule, not the 'rich' silver spooned imbeciles, that live in a
