I missed the APS-H but apart from that: "This innovative, APS-H format sensor leverages a square pixel arrangement of 1.5µm x 1.5µm pixels," Now is it an arrangement of square pixels or a square pixel-arrangement? That question may be answered somewhere. I assumed a square array of square pixels. The square root 250 E6 (250MP) is 15,811.39 pixels. Pixel size is 1.5 E-6m. 15,811.39 x 1.5 E-3 = 23.72mm. On the basis of your APS-H dimensions and the quoted pixel size it amounts to 246.7 MP. There are two classes of people. Those who divide people into two classes and those who don't. That question may be answered somewhere. irrelevant I assumed a square array of square pixels. 29.37mm x 18.90mm is not square. The square root 250 E6 (250MP) is 15,811.39 pixels. Pixel size is 1.5 E-6m. 15,811.39 x 1.5 E-3 = 23.72mm. On the basis of your APS-H dimensions and the quoted pixel size it amounts to 246.7 MP. you're making things *far* too complicated. stated resolution is 19568 x 12588 pixels. that's a total of 246321984 pixels, or 246.321984 mp. add in the unused pixels (which get counted to inflate the numbers) and it's ~250mp. There are two classes of people. Those who divide people into two classes and those who don't. I belong to the second class. if that's you're new sig, you need a sig delimiter. |
