I understand that MUVO has fixed their MP3 players so that we cannot use

them
for CF use. is this true? if so, is there a work-around?

OR

I notice that the iPod 4gb exists. at $300 list, is it capable of being

used as
a CF card??

iow, where is an inexpensive, hardened 4gb minidrive CF form factor???

thanks

If you're willing to spend about $300 for storage, check this out:

Version 2 Muvos have Microdrives that cannot be used as standard CF cards.
I found a couple V1 on ebay (they should arrive early next week) and snapped
them up. The Ipod 4GB will NOT work as the 'generic CF card' circuitry is
disabled.
