Indoor Shooting?
I'm having problems getting indoor "people shots" without having shake in
them. I can get plenty outdoor ones (some have shake) but most are ok. I can take some very good landscape pictures with no problems. I have tried using flash, leaning on furniture, changing settings etc, all to no avail. I'm talking mostly od christenings/weddings/party shots. Has anyone got any links to sites for "indoor photography basics" preferably people pictures? Or if you have any hints I'd be grateful. Mick. |

Indoor Shooting?
If you are using a camera that has ISO Manual Settings set it to 400 at
least. Then Shutter Speed of 125 and Apature of F4. Might be a bit bright at first but then you can change the shutter speed with the apature to get the adjustments down good. Even the ISO settings might need to be changed to 200. Who knows you might even know how to work the bright balance and up it some if it is a bit dark in the room. I might have some of this wrong. However play around with the manual settings and you'll get it straight. However if you have a camera that doesn't have manual settings put the thing on a tripod. Only solution! |

Sorry I forgot to state the camera etc that I'm using. It's a Fuji 6900 digital zoom. I used shutter priority and also full manual to try to help stop any movement. I also used the in built flash/red eye reduction, but it's just not coming to-gether for me. A family christening I attended did not lend itself to using a Tripod unfortunately. As I said outdoors I can get people in clear focus it's indoors that I have severe problems with. Links/tips would be a great help. Mick. |
