What is FILM???

Good question, but I've got a better one: what is "digital"?

Little Jack Horner knows, and he just just downgraded his DSLR so
that it can now use film :

And what about the charter explicitly mentions the item being discussed
must have a 35mm sized sensor?

I dunno, lessee: maybe perhaps the name?
As in: "equipment.35mm"
But any idiot can figure that out, apparently
you need it spelled out. He
e-q-u-i-p-m-e-n-t-.-3-5-m-m
Better now?

rest of utter crap argumentation deleted, for sanity reasons

Unless you want rpe35 to
wither and die,

and why not? Because you and the other
pbase scam trolls want to occupy it doesn't mean
its charter should not be obeyed. Want to talk
digital defective sensors, create your own group
or **** OFF to one of the many digital photography
ones. Why don't you?

As somebody else wrote, the charter also mentions half-frame cameras and
cameras with an APS-C sized sensor fall in this category.

Actually, they completely don't.
But don't let simple facts interfere
with your dreams.

How 'bout we say that whether or not we post here is actually none of your
business? And as it happens, THIS discussion (which you started, repeatedly)
is off topic in almost every newsgroup. In the early days of Usenet (and AFAIK
it's still the case) special groups were set up for the discussion of what is
and isn't on-topic. This was done precisely so that other newsgroups wouldn't
get cluttered with arguments like this one. Find such a group, and go rant
there to your heart's content.

While that is a possibility, film will continue to exist for a while in
some niches. It will take some time for instance before we have the
digital equivalent of a large format camera.

LF digital (scanning) backs have been around for 10 years or so.
They're not very quick, mind you, but for some shooting that is not a
requirement.

Yep. And to not accidentally turn off the filter in the filters list
(seems to happen easily in the Mac OS X version)

Read the charter.

There is huge gulf between "reading" and "understanding" where some are
concerned, unfortunately.
