Canon Rebel XTi Software question
Hi all . My husband just got this Camera for christmas . He is fine
with the camera . He is very familiar with digital slr photography . It is me that needs the help . I am the computer person and download all the photos . I have loaded zoombrowser on and also the ESO utility . I transfered the first phots no problem . My question is this . The Eos manual says you can transfer photos to the pc by downloading all images in a single operation or you can download images by operating the camera . Why have the two options and how do they differ . The menu on the camera says you can select image to dowload or download all . I am just confused and do not know why you have the choice. Sorry if this is long I did not know how to ask in a shorter format . Thanks to anyone who can help. I always ask why when given choices Fran |

I always ask why when given choices Fran Fran, Transfer one image (the one you have selected) or, all of them. Its a handy choice, depends on needs and circumstance I suppose. Lets say you've already downloaded them all, but accidently deleted one. What would you do ? Threlly Yes I can see how being able to transfer 1 photo or all photos from the camera to the Pc would be a good thing to be able to do .The EOS utility gives you the option to transfer all images or the second item in the list is to pick the photos you want to download. It just makes me wonder why use EOS if you can do everything from the camera. Choices are good. Lack of choices is bad. -- Bill Funk replace "g" with "a" |
