Hello Hanno,

Just a couple of things from the opening page ... the front page image has a
"width" tag but no "height" tag, so the image window resizes when loading,
which always looks tacky to me. Simple to fix this by adding the "height=336"
tag.

The first image is 490x336 pixels but a whopping 165,701 bytes, which takes a
long time to download on my 56K modem and twice as long on a 28.8K modem (over
one minute just for the one jpeg IF there is no bandwidth loss, and there is
always some additional bandwidth loss). Many people still use 28.8K's,
unfortunately, so it may take them up to 90 seconds just to load the first
page, with one image.

Most of my jpegs for a site I'm working on are 602 x 473 pixels and only 45,000
- 60,000 bytes without much of a loss in quality, so I think you can compress
the jpegs a lot more without compromising quality. A lot of people simply shut
down the page if it takes too long to load, I've found.

Will look at the insides later. Hope this helps.

Bill
