I believe everyone would hate to see Jim go and if he is calling it
quits, then I agree with Paul when he asked if any responsible person
is willing to pick up the torch.
I'd like to hear ideas about what you feel could be improved, changed,
etc. Anything to help resuscitate the SI.

I felt it belonged equally in rec.photo, but now I am not so sure.

But I disagree strongly with the main reason it died, or was killed off
by those who are mission posters, trolls of the lower order ( a good
Troll is hard to find, used to be more of 'em), or simply engaged in
electon warfare against some one or few people.
