That's in the hands of the photographer. I would need to sell one hell of a
lot of pics at Shutterstock to make what I do from Alamy. But then, my pics
are way too good for Shutterstock etc, and thus they sell at Alamy. I'm
averaging over 300 dollars a week at Alamy. Work out for yourself how many
micropayment sales that equates to.

A lot. But remember that they're not really paying for *sales* at
Shutterstock, it's *downloads*; you get paid every time anybody
seriously considers your photo, rather than every time somebody uses
it.

If you're doing well in conventional stock sales, then I'm sure you're
right that Shutterstock isn't right for you.
