Best programm to remove dust spots from pictures
.... only being a little sarcastic and somewhat old school, I would say
the best program for removving dust spot from pictures would be a program of carefully cleaning your camera and lenses before shooting inportant pictures when dust spots might make a difference. The program would consist of a blower bulb, some lens cloths, maybe a bit of lens cleaner and some elbow grease. If you really want to **** people off, you throw in a can of compressed air :-))) BTW, if that is all you are doing with photo software, Photoshop Elements, probably Gimp, or any number of other inexpensive programs will suit your needs. It ain't rocket science. Rth wrote: Hello, I am looking for a programm to remove dust spots from pictures. Any advice on which programm to use are welcome. Regards, Richard. |

Spot healing brush in PSCS2 is fantastic, beats cloning, or even the healing brush in PS7 or PSCS. ohterwise: When scanning: Use a scanning program with Digital Ice, also clean the film, The Polaroid anti dust works in a pinch, but softens alot to be realy effective. If you have black spots on your digital camera, clean the sensor. If you are getting white or colored dust on your digicam you may have problems. Tom |

Bart Bart's right, polaroid's dust and scratch remover is the best free solution to this problem. He says use masks, I say use the PS undo brush to regain lost highlights (in the eyes, primarily). -- Regards, Matt Clara www.mattclara.com |
