OMG, Sony is bad but they aren't that bad. I bought one of those DVD
players, and it would lose the sound part way through the flic ALL the
time! Without a resume feature, I would have to stop play, restart,
wait thru the menus, and then skip to the viewing point.

It was supposed to be a prog scan, with 5.1 outs. It had 'em but it
didn't work worth a ****. Sony can't be that bad.

used to be synonymous with high quality. I'm more offended at their
actions, i.e., poor engineering, build quality, and, worse, this DRM
garbage. I expect nothing from Coby, but I expect a lot better from
Sony. It's shameful.

It used to be that you could buy cheap stuff or step up to Sony. Now,
Sony has descended to the ranks of cheap crap along with everyone else.
There's little reason to choose Sony over (say) Samsung or Panasonic
these days.
